Social Prescribing

Social prescribing supports residents to access local services which can benefit health and wellbeing for non-medical needs. Referrals are made through your GPs, nurse and other health and care professionals. Our Community Wellbeing Co-ordinators can help you to find support for issues outside of the usual care that your GP or nurse may be able to provide. This involves linking residents with a range of activities that are typically provided by voluntary and community sector organisations.
